Residences Created By You, For You

• The Oaks has 42 apartments located on two floors. We have a diverse mix of 1 and 2 bedroom floor plans, ranging from 528 square feet to 1000 square feet. The Pines has 50 apartments also located on two floors. The apartment sizes range from 510 square feet to 980 square feet. In both buildings all floors are reachable by stairs or a central elevator.
  
  
• Each home features a full kitchen, including a range, refrigerator and dishwashers at The Pines, living room, bedroom, private bath with a shower unit, ample closet space, telephone hook-ups and a 24-hour response system. A number of our residences also feature private patios or balconies.
  
  
• Select your own size of residence, bring your own furnishings, choose the number of meals per day you desire to eat. Your home means your choices.
  
  
• Cable television, all utilities and one meal per day are included in your monthly fee.

It's All About Choices

• Our grand fireplace room is the perfect place to host a book group, hold a Kiwanis meeting, take classes, have a scrapbooking club or participate in other enriching activities.
  
  
• Fitness is fun at The Oaks and The Pines. We created a walking program where we select a destination - we've walked to Chicago and Sturgis - and track our miles. You don't have to be an All-American jock to enjoy this. (The best part is the party we have after we reach our destination.)
  
  
• Catch up on the latest news or e-mail or talk online with family and friends from our media room at The Pines.
  
  
• Get personal attention at The Oaks' and The Pines' hair salon for men and women.
  
  
• Attend spiritual services of multiple denominations led at The Oaks and The Pines by local faith leaders.

Safe, Worry Free Living

• Don't want to shovel snow? Don't worry. We provide all maintenance, landscaping and snow removal.
  
  
• Trained healthcare professionals are on duty 24 hours per day and are there for you to assist with any healthcare needs.
  
  
• If you're traveling, we provide "While You're Away Service," such as watering plants, collecting mail, etc.

• At Ecumen and at The Oaks and The Pines, we are committed to using innovative technology to enhance the lives and independence of the people we serve. One of the technological options that The Oaks and The Pines provides for purchase is QuietCare. Ecumen was the first in Minnesota to feature this technology.
  
  
• QuietCare offers you non-obtrusive sensors that alert a team member at The Oaks and The Pines and/or a family member if your normal daily activity substantially changes. QuietCare helps to identify small problems before they become large ones. This is one more tool to help us help you live the way you want to live.
  
  
• Ecumen is one of the leaders of the Center for Aging Services Technologies (www.agingtech.org), a national collaboration of technology providers, housing providers and universities leading a national charge to deploy technology to help people live life fully on their terms.
